AN up-and-coming singer whose voice has been compared with the magical Billie Holliday is playing a gig in south Wales next month before the release of her debut single.
Holly Rose's I Don't Care is an emotional and moody record due to be released on March 17.
She said: "I eat, sleep and breathe music.
We wrote I Don't Care in about five minutes.
I'm very relationship-oriented and it's about liking somebody for who they are and not trying to make them who you want."
Rose said: "You can't change anybody, so just have a smile and think I love you, that's it."
Her debut album, entitled Apple, will be released in the summer.
She plays at Cardiff's Hard Rock Café on Tuesday, March 11.
