ALLAN yn y Fan make their first concert appearance of 2012 in Wales on Saturday, February 25 at 8pm in the Morgan Rooms at Newport’s Tredegar House.
It is a benefit gig for the Tredegar House Folk Festival and the band’s guest performer is eminent harpist in Delyth Jenkins This marks the first opportunity to see both acts together since their extensive Home Ground tour of Wales and England in the spring of 2010.
For that occasion they recorded a special EP together entitled Lle Arall which received critical acclaim from across the globe.
Allan yn y Fan spent the last weeks of 2011 touring England and Wales with Welsh entertainment legend Max Boyce and putting the finishing touches to their latest album, their fourth, entitled Pwnco which will be released on Steam Pie Records in early April.
