FOLLOWING the astounding success of the Rock Olympics in Newport last month, the South Wales music Collective now has its sights firmly set on the South Wales valleys.

Beginning at the Penllwyn Manor, Blackwood this Saturday, August 18, some of the Collectives finest acts will be touring many of the outlying areas.

Talent on show will include The Venture, Drag Me Down, Enemy Agenda, Fingertrap, The Obsessions, Behind The Line and Tone Damage, many of whom graced the stage of the Rock Olympics last month.

The tour continues to Ebbw Vale Institute on August 25, followed by Newbridge Memorial Club on September 15.

Due to the increase in demand for SWMC acts in the area, the collective has also secured a weekly contract with Delilah’s in Cwmbran, starting on September 2 then every Sunday thereafter. This will provide a more intimate setting for the acts to show audiences their repertoire and all events will be free.

The Collective will also be showcasing ten music acts at an all-day event at Newport’s Meze Lounge on September 30.

Tickets for the gigs are available online at eventelephant.com/ swmcsatthemanor and eventelephant.com/swmcevi
