JONES Terence William (Terry) Peacefully, on 15th July 2023, Terence William (Terry), dearly loved husband of Barbara, devoted father and father in law of David and Claire, Robert and Julie, Jeffrey and Sian, Sarah and Philip. Loving Grandpa to Emma, Carys, Natalie, Lucy, Daniel, Matthew, Callum, Lily, Daisy and to his great grandchildren. Loved brother of Michael. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Magor on Friday 4th August at 2.30pm followed by interment at Wilcrick Churchyard. Family flowers only. If desired, donations made payable to St Mary's Church, Wilcrick or Dementia UK may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH.

Terry and I grew up together as neighbours at Great House Farm Caerwent. A happy young man. I remember those saturday evenings when we sat in the kitchen counting the money his mother and father had taken in the Newport market. Terry took great pride in trimming the lane hedge by hand. A thoroughly good man.
