AKERS Marion Peacefully on December 5th at Capel Grange Nursing Home, Newport. Marion aged 79 years, formerly of Rhiwderin, beloved wife of the late Peter, dearly loved Mum of Mark and mother-in-law of Alison, cherished Nana to Emily and Lucy. The family wish to give heartfelt thanks to the staff at Capel Grange for their compassion and kindness shown over the last 6 years, you truly made a difference. Goodnight God Bless, finally at peace. Funeral Thursday 21st December 2023, Langstone Vale Crematorium, Newport at 1pm, followed by refreshments at The Old Barn Inn. To celebrate Marion, the family would ask for a splash of pink. Donations in lieu of flowers made payable to R.S.P.C.A may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH.
