VISITORS to Wattsville can enjoy a revamped woodland area thanks to a recent project.
The scheme run by The Woodlands activity centre, Troed-y-Rhiw Road, and JobFix has seen more than 100 unemployed people working in woodland near the centre to build and install features including a new footpath and picnic tables.
The project participants have worked in different teams in weekly cycles to carry out the work with materials provided by the centre.
Owner of Troed-y-Rhiw farm Tony Edwards, who has been involved in the project, said: āI think these guys deserve to be recognised. Iām so proud of them.ā
