Fire crews tackle Ebbw Vale factory blaze
FOUR fire crews were called to put out a factory fire in Ebbw Vale yesterday evening.
The fire, at YUASA Battery (UK) Limited, was started in the building’s extraction system.
Firefighters received a call at 8.53pm and the fire was put out at 9.41pm.
Crews from Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, Brynmawr and Pontypridd were on the scene at the Rassau Industrial Estate.
There were no casualties.
An investigation will now be held to determine the cause of the fire.
