A CWMBRAN mum successfully launched a toddler group in Newport to support families of children who have received special care or neonatal intensive care.
Three years ago, Anna Taylor’s daughter Isobel was born 10 weeks premature and received treatment in the special care baby unit at the Royal Gwent Hospital.
While there, she met Gareth and Hayley Cooper from Crosskeys, whose daughter Maisie was also in the unit.
Last year, she worked with the couple to host fundraising events to raise £60,000 to allow Maisie, who has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, to undergo pioneering surgery in America to help her walk.
