ISLWYN MP Chris Evans is asking constituents to vote for the three community groups shortlisted in the Lloyds Bank Community Fund awards.
Trinity Fund, Pengam Primary School and the 5th Risca Scout Group have all been shortlisted for an award of up to £3,000.
Trinity Fund is raising money to buy three multi-use chairs for the children’s wards in local hospitals which will make it easier for parents to say with their children while they are in hospital.
Pengam Primary School want to purchase waterproofs, equipment and tools for the its new Forest School programme.
The 5th Risca Scout Group aim to upgrade their scout hut to make it more accessible for people with disabilities. Any remaining funds would be used to start a gardening project in their grounds.
Groups with the most votes will be awarded £3,000, with grants of £2,000, £1,000 and £500 also available.
