A CAR on fire at the Croesyceiliog bypass in Cwmbran caused traffic disruption this afternoon.
South Wales Fire and Rescue received a call at 3.15pm saying that a Land Rover Discovery was on fire on the A4042 in Cwmbran.
A crew from Malpas attended and used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to put the fire out.
Fire crews remain at the scene dampening down and police are in attendance for traffic calming measures.
It is not yet known if anyone was hurt during the incident.
