THE Blaenau Gwent Labour Party has confirmed that Alun Davies AM was unanimously re-selected as the Welsh Labour’s Blaenau Gwent candidate for the 2016 elections.
There has been speculation that his re-selection would not happen after he was sacked from his government position as natural resources minister for breaking the ministerial code earlier this year
The breach occured when he was found to have lobbyed Natural Resources Wales in favour of the £280million Circuit of Wales project.
A statement from the party and Mr Davies is expected shortly.
