A 30-YEAR-OLD Abertillery man is being hunted after someone was injured in the town this afternoon when he was "punched in the head" police said.
Officers were called to an address on Brace Avenue, Abertillery at around 2pm to reports of a man having been stabbed.
On arrival officers spoke to a man who had suffered a slight head injury, but not a stab wound and was treated on scene by road ambulance paramedics. They believe the victim was punched in the head as he was walking along Brace Avenue.
The air ambulance also attended the incident, but they did not treat or transport the patient. Anyone who might have witnessed the event is asked to ring Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 241 05/12/14.
