A NEWPORT community has been given a vital boost thanks to a regeneration project in the city.
Pill has benefited from the support of unique enterprise company Pinkspiration which aims to inspire young people who would like to move into business or set up a community project.
Thanks to their support, the Pill Mill board were able to discuss how they could use Pill Box Hall as a charity and coffee shop.
Chair of the Pill Mill and Pill Box hall Tracey Holyoake said: “We discussed people having problems with fly tipping in the area, people being on low incomes and there being no charity shops.
“One of our volunteers mentioned Pinkspiration and it all happened from there.”
It is open from 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays. If you want to volunteer, call 01633 660 262.
