THERE will be no refuse or recycling collections in Newport on Bank Holiday Monday (May 25).
All services from Newport City Council during this week will be pushed back by one day.
A spokesman from the authority said: "If your normal collection day is a Monday, your collection day will be Tuesday during the Bank Holiday week and so on.
"Please ensure that your wheelie bin and recycling boxes are put out for collection before 7am on the morning of your collection."
The Recycling Centre and Landfill Site located at the Household Waste Recycling Centre, Docks Way, Maesglas will also be closed on Bank Holiday Monday. Normal services will resume at the centre at 7.30am on Tuesday, May 26.
