The Lloyds TSB Welsh Proms Cardiff are back, with an even bigger and better season of summer music-making.

They are performing at St David's Hall from 10 to 28 July, under the artistic direction of charismatic conductor Owain Arwel Hughes OBE.

Fifteen fabulous concerts over nineteen days and nights promise to make this a not-to-be missed season of music and fun for the whole family.

In addition to eight evening orchestral concerts featuring some of the world's finest musicians and orchestras, the season will also include daytime Lunchtime Proms, the Children's Prom and Tiddly Prom for the younger music lovers and the popular Jazz Prom, with Clare Teal.

This year sees the welcome return to the season by the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera in Choral Prom (21 July) and Orchestral Spectacular Prom (22 July).

Other highlights include the first-ever Harp Prom, with Catrin Finch and Isabelle Perrin joining the BBC National Orchestra of Wales (24 July) and Silver Screen Spectacular Prom with soprano Sh?n Cothi and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing hits from the movies (26 July).
