COLE Porter's classic musical High Society comes to the Wales Millennium Centre in a giddy blend of corking songs, fizzing one-liners and champagne-fuelled farce.
Wayne Sleep heads the cast in this new production, fresh off a successful run in London's West End, and having been nominated for two Olivier awards.
Featuring 15 of Cole Porter's greatest songs such as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Well Did You Evah? and True Love, this production promises to be one hell of a party.
When C.K. Dexter-Haven, a successful jazz musician, moves into a mansion close to his ex-wife's Tracy Lord's estate and discovers that she is on the verge of marrying a blander, safer man than himself, he starts trying to win Tracy's heart back all over again. Mike Connor, a tabloid reporter, also falls for Tracy while covering the nuptials for his magazine, leaving Tracy to choose between the three men, all whilst discovering that her heart and her head often want totally different things from the men in her life.
The show opens on April 30 and runs until May 5.
Tickets for the show, which cost between £5 and £29, are available from the box office on 08700 402000.
