GIPSIES are camped on the playing field of a Newport school.
Around 20 caravans moved onto the site opposite Duffryn High School on Friday afternoon.
The caravans set up just a few yards behind a set of rugby posts on the school pitch.
Cars, pick-up trucks and large gas cannisters are also on site.
It is understood police and Newport city council have been informed.
