DRIVERS in Newport have been reminded to lock their cars and to hide valuable items from display after three vehicles were broken into in one night.
Sometime between 10.45pm on Monday and 6.20am on Tuesday, a car was broken into on The Nurseries in Langstone.
Then a car was broken into on Viscount Evan Drive between 6.30pm on Monday and 6.45am on Tuesday.
While another was broken into on St Brides Gardens between 12.30pm on Monday and 11.30am on Tuesday.
All the cars were left unlocked and police are urging motorists to make sure their cars are secure, especially at night.
Anyone who has any information that could help police with their enquiries is asked to call 101 and reference log numbers 34 24/11/15 for the first incident, 45 24/11/15 for the second and 181 24/11/15 for the third.
