THESE newly-released images show how the long-awaited £315 million Circuit of Wales racetrack in Blaenau Gwent could look.
The project was given the green light in November after the Welsh Government agreed to deregister more than 600 acres of common land north of Ebbw Vale.
Building work on the 830-acre project is expected to begin in April next year and once complete it is expected to create 6,000 full time jobs and bring 750,000 visitors as well as £45 million into the local economy every year.
The circuit has already secured a five-year contract and a further five year option to hold the British MotoGP and it is hoped the track will be completed in time to host the race in 2017. The full complex is expected to be completed by 2020.
