Update 5.00am:
A WARNING of icy roads has been given for Gwent as temperatures dropped overnight.
The yellow 'be aware' warning began at 6.00pm yesterday evening and is valid until 10.00am this morning and covers Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Torfaen.
The Met Office says that clear skiwe overnight could allow ice to form at times on untreated surfaces.
