A refuse fire was deliberately started in a derelict building Poplar Close, Rogiet
FIREFIGHTERS from Maindee put out a deliberately lit refuse fire inside a derelict building in Rogiet.
The South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property on Poplar Close in Rogiet just after 12.30pm. Breathing equipment and a hosereel jet were used to put out the fire.
Jennir Griffiths, head of the joint fire control for South, Mid and West Wales Fire Service said the fire was deliberate.
