POLICE officers in Newport are looking for a man who helped a woman in crisis, back in August 2010.
Were you the good samaritan who helped a woman when he found her crying in the Central Library in John Frost Square? The man comforted the woman who told him she had been the victim of the serious sexual assault the previous day.
The man pleaded with her to go the police but she refused, so he took her to a local pharmacy so she could access the health care she required.
The man then made sure she was safe.
The Good Samaritan, is described to be between 5 foot 10 inches and 6 foot tall, in his late 30s or early 40s. His name is possibly either Richard or Robert?
If this is you then please get in touch with Gwent Police, as you may hold vital evidence that can help the investigation – please be reassured that you are not in any trouble.
Please call 101, quoting reference number 75 22/04/16.
