Driver escapes injury after car crash at New Inn roundabout
A ROAD has been closed after a car crashed into a roundabout in New Inn today.
Fire crews from New Inn, Cwmbran and Malpas were called to the scene at around 4.53pm after a car crashed into the central reservation of a roundabout near McDonalds in New Inn.
South Wales Ambulance Service confirmed no one was taken to hospital and that a person was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Gwent Police have currently closed off part of the A4042 to recover the vehicle.
