TWO men have pleaded not guilty to attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of a 47-year-old man.
Christopher Trigg, 35, of Risca, and 32-year-old Simon Trigg, both of no fixed address, entered their pleas during a hearing before Judge Eleri Rees at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday.
The charges relate to an incident on the B4471 road, near Mill Court, Hafodyrynys, in the early hours of Tuesday December 27.
The 47-year-old, from Pontypool, required emergency treatment at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
Both Christopher and Simon Trigg have been in custody since their arrest, and Judge Rees further remanded them in custody.
The next hearing is scheduled for March 10, and a trial has been scheduled, to start on June 26.
