FIRST minister Carwyn Jones has written to the UK’s foreign secretary Boris Johnson calling for him to act after a Welsh Muslim teacher was refused entry to the USA on a school trip.
Last week, Juhel Miah, of Llangatwg Community School, was taken off a flight from Iceland to New York before it took off without being told why.
Calling for Mr Johnson to take action, Mr Jones said: “The case is particularly disappointing in the light of the normally excellent relations between this country and the United States.”
