GWENT Police have issued an appeal for information following a rogue trader incident in Monmouthshire.

Two men called at an address on Newport Road in Magor and claimed that there was a problem with the guttering on the property.

After a price was quoted by the men, the occupant said they only had £400 in cash which the two men took. The men said they would call back to complete the work but never returned.

The incident took place Between 12pm and 2pm on Tuesday, February 21.

Officers wold like to speak to the two men shown in the photos as they may be able to help with their enquiries.

Gwent Police are currently investigating the case and anyone that has any information should call 101 quoting log 296 21/2/17.
