Network Rail have confirmed that lines are now reopen.
Route Managing Director for Network Rail Wales, Andy Thomas, said: "We are continuing to investigate the incident and are working with our partners at train operating companies to ensure all services are resumed safely and as efficiently as possible.

Network Rail have published a statement stating the blockage was caused by a "serious incident with a freight train".
Route Managing Director for Network Rail Wales, Andy Thomas, said: "We are aware of a serious incident with a freight train which is causing significant disruption this morning resulting in no services between Cardiff Central and Newport Stations currently.
"We are investigating the incident and working with our partners at train operating companies to ensure services are resumed safely and as efficiently as possible.
"We encourage passengers to please check with National Rail Enquiries for up to date information on affected services and thank them for bearing with us."

DELAYS are expected on train journeys between Cardiff Central and Newport due to a safety inspection.
National Rail have confirmed that lines are currently blocked between Cardiff and Newport, with trains expected to be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled.
Buses are running between Cardiff Central and Newport and Arriva Trains Wales, CrossCountry and Great Western Railway services are affected.
Delays are expected to last until 2pm.
Arriva Trains Wales customers may use CrossCountry and Great Western Railway services on routes to and from Cardiff Central.
Cross Country customers may use Arriva Trains Wales services between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa.
A National Rail statement adds that customers can claim compensation if they experience delays and must keep a train ticket and note of journeys taken.
