PLANS to change land use at a pub near Usk to allow people to camp onsite have been lodged with Monmouthshire County Council.
The application states that the land at The Glascoed Pub in Monkswood was formerly used for sports purposes until November 2013.
It also outlines the removal of an existing timber structure within the earmarked camping boundary and to replace it with a like-for-like two-room structure that would be used in line with its proposed new usage.
The land would be used by the general public but only tents can be used onsite.
Building work on the new structure started last month.
