A NEWPORT Central police officer hijacked a busker rig and sang with an amazing voice, captivating passers-by.
Community Support Officer Lisa Flemming was filmed by Ainee Blanco singing Stand By Me.
The video was shot at the beginning of December last year. However, it is currently being shared widely online, having received more than 115,000 views.
Rob Jenkins, Inspector for Newport Central said: "This video goes to show the level of community engagement that my Community Support Officers offer within the City Centre of Newport.
"This is an example of the positive work that we do on a daily basis and is testament to the engaging character of CO51 Fleming, not to mention a great singing voice.
"Thanks all for you nice comments."
Several social media users said "it is lovely", with another one saying "her voice is amazing."
