THE eastbound section of the Brynglas Tunnel on the M4 will be closed for 34 hours from 8pm on Saturday, May 20, until 6am on Monday, May 22 while refurbishing works are carried out.
A diversion along the Southern Distributor Road will be in place.
Drivers will be informed of the closure by signs on the roads as well as a letter to residents in the area and advertising in the press and online.
Drivers are advised to plan accordingly.
