Film and television actor James Nesbitt, TV personality Denise Van Outen and former Premier League soccer star Craig Bellamy are the latest star names to sign up for this summer’s Celebrity Cup golf tournament at the Celtic Manor Resort.

He links up once again with All Star Cup team-mate Ronan Keating who is also part of the Ireland line-up for this year’s Celebrity Cup on July 1 and 2.

Van Outen returns to the England side after her successful debut in 2016, and former Cardiff City, Liverpool and Wales striker Bellamy will be hoping to inspire the home side to regain the Celebrity Cup trophy they won in 2015 but saw wrested away buy Scotland last year.

Other names already announced for the star-studded event include comedian Rob Brydon, rugby legends Sir Gareth Edwards, Jonathan Davies and Mike Tindall, TV presenters Ben Shephard and Gethin Jones, and boyband stars turned TV personalities, Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden.

Thousands of golf fans and celebrity spotters will flock to Celtic Manor to watch the cup in July.

Tickets for the tournament are now available on the Celtic Manor website. Visitors can also experience the VIP treatment in Hospitality or at Saturday evening’s glittering Gala Dinner.

The tournament’s glittering Gala Dinner will also raise funds for the Marie Keating Foundation, the charity which was set up in honour of Ronan’s mother to promote cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.
