A RESTAURANT which served exotic meats including crocodile and lama has closed.
The Farmer’s Daughter, in Bassaleg, opened in 1983 and was known for serving an array of dishes, including zebra, kangaroo and camel.
Councillor David Williams, whose wife is the owner, said: “The tenants decided they wanted to move on. It closed Sunday and we’re not sure what will happen yet.”
The councillor added that people with questions can e-mail his wife ruth.g.williams@hotmail.co.uk
