GERMAN food and drink will be in the spotlight this weekend when a Newport brewing company holds its first Oktoberfest celebrations.
Tiny Rebel, in High Street, Newport, will hold the event on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30 offering a variety of themed cuisine.
Entry is free and traditional German steins will be available - with a deposit payable at the bar - alongside a special food and drink menu.
This will include authentic German beers such as lagers, wheat beers, dunkels and smoked beer and a menu showcasing authentic and vegan bratwurst and freshly-baked pretzels.
The adult-only event is held annually in Germany from mid or late September, to the first weekend in October.
In the 16-day German event, fans descend to a Beer hall Tent to enjoy music, games, entertainment, food, and singing.
