A NURSERY in Newport celebrated their 25th anniversary today with a fun day.
Osborne Children's Nursery, in Quantock Drive, off Chepstow Road, had a puppet show and a fancy dress day to celebrate their anniversary.
Caroline Lawrence, one of the owners of the nursery, said: “The puppet show was excellent.
“We have also been making hats and baking some cakes.
“They have made all sorts of cakes, from chocolate to vanilla.”
Ms Lawrence said that, these days, it is quite an achievement to be in business for 25 years.
“This is a family environment,” she added. “If children are happy and secure, they will learn.”
The nursery, which caters for children aged six weeks to eight-years-old, would like to hear from children who have previously been in the nursery, to find out what they are up to now and to create a journal. To find out more, please email info@osbornechildrensnursery.co.uk
