A MUM who had a panic attack after becoming trapped in the crowds at Cwmbran’s Christmas light switch on is looking for samaritans who came to her aid.

Adelle Bryon, of Fairwater, said she was trying to make her way through Cwmbran Centre with her 10-week year old daughter Iris when people around her refused to move.

After becoming distressed and feeling like she was going to pass out, two girls helped her out with one pulling the mum and her pram and the other parting the crowd to let her through.

“Basically it was like a can of sardines and no one was moving,” the 23-year-old said.

“I was asking politely and when people tried to move away, the people around them wouldn’t move to let them.

“There was no sense of direction or care for your fellow human.

“Someone at one point nearly tipped the pram over. It was insane and peoples’ manners went completely out the window."

After the incident, Miss Bryon has reached out to say thankyou to the helpers on social media in a post shared more than 700 times.

She added: “I was so confused and overwhelmed by the ordeal.

“For two girls to completely leave their space where they were watching the whole show and to help. It overwhelmed me.

“I just want to say thankyou for their kindness and I think that show of humanity should be rewarded."

Were you the person that helped Miss Bryon on Wednesday, November 15?
