Welsh employer Admiral Group, which employs almost 1,000 people in Newport city centre, has been recognised as a 'great place to work' for the 18th consecutive year.

The company was named the seventh best large workplace (500+ employees) in the UK by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Admiral Group CEO David Stevens said: “Our placing on the Great Place to Work Best Workplaces list is based on feedback from our staff which makes this accolade particularly rewarding.

"And to be recognised for 18 consecutive years is quite an achievement. Our success as a business, and our success in the list, is down to the people who work here. Thank you to everyone who makes Admiral such a fantastic place to work”.

Admiral employs 10,000 members of staff in eight different countries across the world, employing more than 6,800 people in Cardiff, Swansea and Newport alone. Most of the group’s operations around the world enter the Great Place to Work competition in their respective countries.
