Crouch Close, Bettws, Newport
A WOMAN has been arrested following an incident in the Bettws area of Newport.
Police were called to Crouch Close at 8.25pm on Tuesday.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "Upon arrival officers located a male who was conveyed to the Royal Gwent Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
"A 30-year-old woman from Newport was arrested on suspicion of causing grievously bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody at this time."
