Flooding between Beaufort Road and Caerleon Road
FLOODING has hit a Newport junction this afternoon.
Gwent Police took to social media this afternoon to warn people of the situation between Beaufort Road and Caerleon Road, Newport.
The MET Office issued the amber warning across Gwent earlier today.
It is in place from 4pm today until 6am on Friday.
A spokeswoman for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water said: “We have been made aware of flooding to the road on the junction between Beaufort Road and Caerleon Road in Newport this evening.
"We currently have a team on site investigating the cause of this.”
