WHAT are your memories of the iconic Newport night spot which burned down this month?
The South Wales Argus is asking readers to send in your memories and pictures of the old Zanzibar nightclub in Stow Hill Newport.
Also known through the years as the Stowaway, Escapade and Lazers through the years, the club played host to legendary punk bands such as the Sex Pistols, as well as keeping Newport dancing through all of it incarnations.
Did you dance the night away at the Stow Hill hot spot? OR do you remember watching some of the famous bands that graced the former baptist church?
Send your pictures and memories to sam.ferguson@gwent-wales.co.uk.
