THE first arts festival in Abergavenny has been a success.
Over 125 exhibitors and 41 venues were involved with Abergavenny Arts Festival 2018.
Festival chairman, William Duggan said: “The weekend was a successful first Abergavenny Arts Festival.
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the management committee, local businesses, friends, sponsors, supporters, town council authority and the community engagement.
“Thank you to those and to everyone who travelled and visited the festival.
“We will regroup to plan for 2019, learning from this year’s experience.
“We will ensure the team selected will deliver the highest standard of entertainment to reflect that of our proud community, businesses and sponsors.
“We look forward to the challenges that providing pop up artist events and entertainment within our community will bring.
“We hope this fine weather returns for Abergavenny Arts Festival 2019.”
