A 21-year-old man has died and two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, following a crash in Brynmawr in the early hours of this morning.
The crash happened on Blaenavon Road, Brynmawr shortly after 3am, according to Gwent Police.
"The one-vehicle collision involved a silver VW Polo carrying three male occupants," said a Gwent Police spokesman.
"One of the passengers was conveyed to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny with serious injuries where he sadly died. His family are being supported by officers."
The two men arrested in the aftermath remain in police custody.
Anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area in the lead-up to the collision, or anyone who may have seen the crash, is asked to telephone Gwent Police on 101, quoting log number 111 14/07/18.
