Employees from CJCH Solicitors - based in Blackwood, Barry, Bridgend and Cardiff - have hosted a bake sale to raise money for Welsh charity, Y Bont.

Y Bont is a charity, based in the grounds of Heronsbridge School, Bridgend, that provides care and support to disabled children and their families in Bridgend and the surrounding areas.

CJCH Solicitors named Y Bont as their charity of the year, hosting cakes sales at all four offices on Wednesday, which raised £593 through donations.

The firm matched this, meaning the company donated a total of £1,186 to support the specialist facility.

Senior partner as CJCH Solicitors, Jacqui Seal, said "Y Bont is such a fantastic charity, which makes a significant difference to the lives of families and children with disabilities in Bridgend and the surrounding areas.

"As such we were thrilled to be able to raise even more money for this cause and support the incredible work that they do.

"Our team really showed off their baking skills on the day, and I’m sure a few of them could give the Mary Berry a run for her money.

"I’d like to thank them for taking part in this charitable event, which underlines our commitment to the communities we are proud to serve."

CJCH Solicitors have spent the past year helping the charity, and plan to continue in the future.

Not only have they hosted the cake sales, they've held raffles, supported charity events and have collection buckets in the reception of all four offices.
