A RAPIST has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after he was convicted of sexual attacks on two teenage girls.
Mark Caston, 46, of Ty Ffynnon Farm, Bettws, Newport, had denied six sexual allegations against two girls, committed on separate occasions.
Prosecutor Laurence Jones told the court how one of the victims has been raperd while “strongly under the influence of alcohol” and that she was so drunk, she had felt “unable to resist” the assault.
A jury at Cardiff Crown Court found Caston guilty on all counts after a trial.
He was convicted of rape and three sexual assault charges by a unanimous verdict on July 5.
Caston was sentenced to 13 years in prison and given indefinite registration on the Sex Offenders Register on July 20.
