RAIN is pouring and likely to continue throughout the weekend.
Following weeks of dry, hot weather throughout Gwent there is now intermittent downpour, predicted to worsen tomorrow.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Sunday throughout Wales, including Newport, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent.
According to the Met Office there will be showers throughout the evening, with heavy rain and wind expected in South Wales from midnight.
These storms are likely to have an effect on journey times and may cause issues in coastal areas, but the weather is predicted to calm down in the afternoon.
Although there was rain in Caerphilly throughout the day, it did not stop thousands from enjoying the Big Cheese festival.
