GWENT Police say the body found was that of 54-year-old David Gaut, from New Tredegar.
Three men, aged 23 and 51, from the New Tredegar area, and 47 from the Aberbargoed area, remain in police custody on suspicion of murder.

THREE people have been arrested after a body was discovered on the weekend.
Two men aged 23 and 51, from the New Tredegar area, and another man aged 47 from the Aberbargoed area have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.
A 54-year-old was discovered by officers at a house in Long Row in the Elliots Town area of New Tredegar, at around 3pm on Saturday.
Gwent Police have confirmed it was a local man and his family have been informed.
The cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
