THREE men who were being held in custody for the suspected murder of a New Tredegar man have now been charged.

Following the discovery of the body of 54-year-old David Gaut, at an address in Long Row, in the Elliots Town area of New Tredegar, on Saturday, August 4, 2018, three men have been charged for his murder.

A 47-year-old man, 23-year-old man and 51-year-old man, all from the New Tredegar area, have each been charged with murder.

All three are due to appear in Newport Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at approximately 9.30am.
