Showers are forecast for the weekend ahead
SHOWERS are forecast to continue until the afternoon (FRI), with heavy downpours expected in some areas.
The Met Office has not issued a weather warning, but people travelling west of Newport should expect poor driving conditions due to surface water.
Although the skies are expected to clear by the evening, rain is expected to return by lunchtime on Saturday, with heavy showers forecast for the evening.
Temperatures on Friday are expected to reach highs of 17C.
