FIT FOR SERVICE: Cwmbran sailor, Lee Foxhall, 23, has become one of the Royal Navy's fitness experts, after passing out as a Leading Physical Training Instructor (LPTI).
Former Fairwater High School pupil Lee has served on board frigates HMS Westmin-ster and HMS Richmond, but was previously employed as a refrigeration engineer before a change of career to the Senior Service'.
Taking full advantage of the opportunities the Royal Navy has to offer, Lee focused his career on becoming a physical training instructor, where he undertook a demanding course at HMS Temeraire, the Royal Navy School of Physical Training, in Portsmouth.
Having only recently qualified, Lee is due to take up a post as a Leading Physical Trainer at HMS Raleigh, the Royal Navy's training establishment in Plymouth, where he will help put new recruits through their paces.
On his achievement, Lee said: "The PTI course was a challenge, but one which I found enjoyable. I've made new friends, and learned a lot about myself. I have found something which I truly enjoy and can't wait to get stuck in."
Lee enjoys keeping fit outside of work by playing football, and has also represented the Royal Navy Football team in Gibraltar.
