FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a primary school pupil after his leg became trapped in a fence this afternoon.
A crew from Whitefield Fire Station were called to Chapelfield Primary School, in Clough Street, Radcliffe, at about 1.05pm to reports that the youngster's leg had become stuck between some fencing and a brick wall.
Firefighters eventually freed him with the use of specialist equipment.
