MOTORISTS travelling through the west of Newport can expect heavy traffic and delays around the Pont Ebbw roundabout.
Long queues of vehicles are building up on the approach to the roundabout along the SDR and Cardiff Road, stretching back to Belle Vue Park and up into the Gaer.
All Newport Bus services using Cardiff Road are affected by the traffic.
Several school buses are held up in the traffic, with reports of delays to some pick-ups.
On the M4, eastbound traffic between J29 and J26 is also heavily congested.
**CUSTOMER NOTICE** Heavy traffic on Cardiff Road affecting all services.
